CSPI comment on July 29, 2020 Citizen Petition

The Center for Science in the Public Interest submited this comment to the Food and Drug Administration in support of the Citizen Petition filed by Public Health Advocacy Institute and 29 other public health professionals and advocacy groups on July 29, 2020. In this comment, we outline the real and potential risks posed by these beverages and describe how the Petition’s recommended remedies would help address these risks.
