Catherine Cochran (she/her/hers) supports CSPI’s Child Nutrition Programs initiatives, focusing on state and local school food policies. She advocates for science-based policies to ensure every child has access to healthy, delicious foods.

Prior experience

Prior to joining CSPI, Catherine served as a Food Policy Program Assistant for the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and as a Food Systems Intern for Community Health Improvement Partners in San Diego, California. She earned an MA in Food Systems and Policy from New York University and a BA in Political Science from San Diego State University.
