Covid-19
CSPI is working to combat misinformation, win protections for food chain workers, protect SNAP and other government programs, and investigate unscrupulous Covid profiteers.
The Center for Science in the Public Interest is responding to the Covid-19 pandemic by bringing its expertise and resources to bear where we can have the biggest impact. CSPI’s Covid-19 Evidence Hub is a clearinghouse of research hubs identifying work on treatments, vaccines, diagnostic tests, and effective public health measures. A simple, up-to-date vaccine table provides the characteristics of all the major vaccines, including their overall effectiveness, their activity against the major variants, and information on their safety profiles.
Dr. Peter G. Lurie’s Beyond the Curve Blog seeks to address the scientific, political, and human dimensions of the pandemic. And as your food and health watchdog, CSPI is working to stop the spread of disease, support vulnerable food chain workers, alleviate hunger by championing SNAP and other government programs, and hold accountable those who would exploit the crisis.
