CSPI letter to FDA Human Foods Commissioner Jim Jones regarding menu labeling

CSPI writes to request a meeting with James Jones regarding FDA's recent release of draft Edition 2 of its Menu Labeling Supplemental Guidance for Industry. The guidance includes two requested voluntary actions related to chain restaurants: the posting of calorie information on menus by chain restaurants on third party platforms such as Grubhub, Uber Eats, and Doordash, and the inclusion of added sugars information as part of the nutrition information that is to be made available to consumers.
