Call your Senators to Pass the Coronavirus Bill

In comments filed with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the Center for Science in the Public Interest opposed revisions to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (or SNAP, formerly food stamps) proposed by the USDA, which would cause 3.1 million recipients to lose SNAP benefits, and which would further prevent qualified children from being automatically eligible for free or reduced-price school meal programs.
