According to the complaint, EpicGenetics falsely claims its FM/a Test for fibromyalgia is “99 percent accurate” when the company’s own study indicates it generates false negative test results 7 percent of the time, and false positives nearly one-third of the time for individuals with rheumatoid arthritis or lupus.

El entorno alimentario en la venta minorista, tanto en las tiendas como en línea, es un factor importante que influye en las elecciones alimentarias y en la calidad de la dieta. La calidad de la dieta en Estados Unidos es baja y contribuye a las altas tasas de enfermedades crónicas relacionadas con la alimentación. El acceso desigual a entornos alimentarios saludables y la exposición desigual a la comercialización de alimentos poco saludables contribuyen a las diferencias persistentes en la calidad de la dieta y los resultados en materia de salud en función de la raza, el origen étnico y el nivel socioeconómico.
