Sarah Despres (she/her) served as a counselor to the Secretary of HHS from 2021 to 2025. Before joining HHS, she directed government relations for the public health work at the Pew Charitable Trusts for 10 years after serving as a counsel to the House Energy and Commerce Committee and the House Committee on Government Reform. She is currently working as a consultant for several nonprofit organizations focused primarily on immunization policy.
